Games Forum Roma
A New International Platform for Interactive Culture, Knowledge and Global Collaboration
Rome, Italy – 12–13 November 2026
Rome will host the first edition of The Games Forum Roma (TGFR), a new international platform created to connect academia, industry, cultural institutions, international organisations and public bodies around one of the most influential cultural and technological forces of our time: interactive media.
Taking place at Villa Mondragone, the historic Congress and Representation Centre of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, TGFR has been conceived as a space where ideas, expertise and leadership can come together to explore the future of interactive culture and its impact on society.
Organised by Structura and Women in Games, and co-directed by Marco Accordi Rickards and Marie-Claire Isaaman, the Forum aims to foster new partnerships, encourage international dialogue and support the development of initiatives capable of generating long-term cultural, educational and societal impact.
Rather than focusing on product launches or commercial showcases, TGFR is dedicated to the exchange of knowledge, the creation of strategic connections and the exploration of the opportunities and responsibilities emerging from the growth of interactive culture worldwide.
The programme will bring together leading voices from universities, industry, cultural heritage organisations, international networks, research centres and public institutions to discuss the future of interactive media, digital heritage, education, inclusion, innovation and global collaboration.
